Position summary: Graduate School of Science, Nagoya University is seeking a tenure-track assistant professor “Jokyo” (non-PI [principal investigator] assistant professor) for the Laboratory of Inorganic Chemistry at Department of Chemistry, Graduate School of Science, Nagoya University.

Term

5 years
The research and laboratory teaching performances will be reviewed at the 5th year. The successful applicant will be promoted as a tenure lecturer (non-PI position); otherwise employed as a project assistant professor with a term of 1 year.

Qualifications

Holder of a doctorate (Ph.D.) degree (as of March 2015). A good command of English and/or Japanese is required. Experience in XAFS analysis and/or structural imaging using synchrotron facility is needed.

Mission

The applicant will join the laboratory of Inorganic Chemistry at Department of Chemistry (PI: Prof. Mizuki Tada) and cooperate with other members for ongoing projects in the laboratory.
