Tittle:Development of Materials Imaging Technique Based on Flexible Fluorophores Research: We have proposed hybridization of flexible and rigid pi skeletons as a fundamental molecular design for multi-luminescence from a single-component organic system. A series of synthetic hybrid pi systems change their conformation, depending on the physical environment in various media. Since the structural transformation is accompanied by the luminescence color change, the visualization of the physical environment can be achieved in the materials. This technique would be called as “materials imaging”.
